Waypoints: A Creative Process Retreat in the Texas Hill Country

Join Charlotte Gullick, MFA, and Melinda Rothouse, PhD, for an intimate creative process retreat. Getting lost and finding your way anew are vital moments in the journey to create. Together we will explore self-doubt, disorientation, and reconnection in relation to our artistic work. This retreat is open to anyone interested in exploring, re-igniting, or deepening their creativity; no specific experience, training, or expertise needed. All creative mediums are welcome.
Retreat activities will include creative prompts, personal reflection and expression, group exchanges, and a communal lunch, all within a peaceful and inspiring setting in Spicewood, Texas. Participants will have an opportunity to work on an existing project or begin developing ideas for a new one.
At Syncreate, we believe in the power of creativity to evoke transformation; this is one of our major interests and areas of focus. Our events offer an understanding of the psychology and neuroscience of creativity, experiential exercises to facilitate the creative process, a community of like-minded people interested in exploring creativity together, and concrete tools for bringing more creativity into your professional life, your artistic endeavors, and your world.
